Light & Versatile

MoonLander is one of the lightest truck bed campers on the market. It drives like a topper, not a camper. The two lofted bed panels are removable, giving you massive amounts of space to haul stuff with your truck. It is also aerodynamic, minimally impacting gas mileage on the highway.

Expedition Style

This isn’t your grandpa’s topper. Stainless steel hardware for smooth, rust free operation. Marine grade sealants, reinforced aluminum framing, and thick 1/16” aluminum skins make MoonLander is an overbuilt escape pod. It has a 1.25" thick honeycomb roof made of UV stabilized polypropylene that helps insulate the camper and supports 2-3 people on top. Hop on top to get a viewpoint, watch the sunset or mount gear. It’s ready for the most demanding environments.

Twin, full, or queen size bed platform options. The bed platforms are made up of two panels, easily stack them out of the way or remove them completely to haul stuff.

We build the bed frame, you choose the mattress you want. Because you don't need to fold the camper down, any mattress you like or already have can fit. We have recommendations if needed.

2026 Refresh

We have made some refinements to our design for 2026. Check them out below. Manufacturing in America allows us to implement improvements quickly, this time we decided to bundle a few together.

Weather Flaps

We have integrated new weather flaps on the top and bottom of the door for improved rain protection. While the door is open in rain, the hidden internal flap at the top of the door keeps rain from falling through the crack. The same type of flap at the bottom of the door allows for an easier seal on the tailgate allowing you to open tailgate first or camper first.

Double Bolt Latch

Our campers now have a bolt latch on each side of the door, for maximum security while sleeping. These dead bolts keep Big Foot from being able to get in at night.

Braided Wire & Proprietary Wire Clips

We now cover the wire with a nice braid that is more aesthetically pleasing. In addition, we have designed our own wire clips that use our high grade VHB tape instead of standard zip tie mounts that fail in repeated heat cycles. No more zip ties and better hold.

Air Conditioning

A/C is finally here! The Velit 2000R Mini is a low profile 55 Lbs. rooftop A/C unit that runs on high amp 12V power. Pair this with our insulation package and power bank to beat the heat in the summer.

Van Level Power Bank

We are now selling the Comvolt 3000wh and 4200wh solar generator batteries. These feature a high output Anderson-plug on the back to power our A/C offering. Both offer exceptional power to size ratios for all of your needs.

Shore Power

We now offer a shore power plug installed in the side of the camper wall. This 120V plug allows you to run an extension cord straight into the camper from shore power.

Materials

Weighing only 25 - 45 Lbs, this makes MoonLander one of the lightest insulated campers on the market. We use an industrial grade 1" foam board that features a thin FRP laminated to each side, mounted between the framing. The interior is then finished with automotive carpet and marine foam decking, offering a combination of comfort and durability for a cozy and finished feel.

Additional Function

We use carpet on the vertical walls to eliminate condensation, add sound proofing, and to also function as velcro. Use the walls to mount storage bags for light gear or other items like patches and small items. Additionally, L-Track is mounted to the sub-framing to give you easy mount points along the top. Hang heavier gear or accessories for quick accessibility.
