The first of its kind. A hybrid between a topper and an expedition rig. MoonLander is extended on both sides, allowing you to sleep sideways over the truck bed. This gives you up to ~78” of sleeping length in a mid-size truck and ~84” in a full-size truck!

LIGHT & VERSATILE.

MoonLander is one of the lightest truck bed campers on the market. It drives like a topper, not a camper. The two lofted bed panels are removable, giving you massive amounts of space to haul stuff with your truck. The shell weighs 225 lbs. without windows or the bed frame on a 5’ Tacoma! MoonLander is also aerodynamic, minimally impacting gas mileage on the highway.

EXPEDITION STYLE.

This isn’t your grandpa’s topper. Stainless steel hardware for smooth, rust free operation. Marine grade sealants. Reinforced aluminum framing and thick 1/16” aluminum skins make MoonLander an overbuilt escape pod. It has a reinforced roof that can support 2-3 people on top. Hop on top to get a viewpoint, watch the sunset or have a dance party. Mount gear anywhere on the inside and outside of the topper with its reinforced framing. It’s ready for the most demanding environments.

MoonLander comes standard with a full size bed frame that is made up of two panels. They can stack on top of each other out of the way, or be removed completely from the camper.
Below are the panel widths, the length of your sleeping area is the width of your MoonLander.
Standard Panel Options:
- 26” panel + 26” panel = 52” wide full size bed platform (easy to stack, split in half)
- 36” panel + 16” panel = 52” wide full size bed platform (36” twin size for the solo camper, but you have the option to make it a full)
Queen Bed Panel Option:
- 29” panel + 29” panel = 58” wide queen size bed platform
- Aluminum framing made up of 1” and 1.25” square tubing that can be drilled/ tapped into for mounting things.
- Thick 1/16” aluminum panels that will resist denting.
- The panels are secured to the camper with a VHB (Very High Bond) acrylic mounting tape made by 3M that is designed for mounting panels to a frame. The VHB is such a strong fastener, that it is actually reinforcing the welds while dampening vibrations and impact that the camper takes when driving off road. On top of this, it seals out all water and requires zero holes unlike rivets. It is able to last 30+ years. Watch this video if you’re not convinced: VHB Strength Demonstration
- The camper is then double sealed with some of the best marine grade sealants that are UV stable.
- Stainless steel hardware for lifetime use.
- Reinforced diamond plate roof for standing on and hail protection.
- Slanted angles for aerodynamics, easy branch deflection, aesthetics, and it allows you to see past the camper with your side mirrors.

Slim Side Pod Extensions

Arctic Tern Windows

“Awning style windows allow for maximum ventilation. Double pane acrylic. 10 and 35 degrees open for the 300mm size. 20, 40, and 60 degrees for all other sizes. Semi-lock position that allows air in during stormy conditions. Blind and screen is included with window, comes with a fine mesh insect screen and blackout blind with reflective exterior. These can be used separately or together for infinite combinations of privacy and air. The blind also creates a second dead air space for maximum thermal efficiency in very cold conditions.” -Tern Overland

Cab Access Window

This window is designed for the cab side of the camper. You can slide open the center window for quick access from cab to camper AND you can completely remove the window from the inside of the camper! Just undo 2 latches and the window hinges down into the camper, and can pop out completely. Giving you 46” x 11” of an opening.

Roof Bubble Window

Place a bubble window anywhere on the roof. It adds 4” of head space where ever it is placed. Bring in natural light during the day and watch the stars at night.

Solar Package

(Solar Generator Battery Not Included)

175 Watts or 100 Watts of solar mounted to the front slant or on the roof. Wires run through a weather proof solar port and are routed through the MoonLander to the door. The plug at the end is a DC 8mm connector that plugs directly into a Goal Zero or Jackery battery station (Not Included).

Tail Gate Lock (Old Trucks Only)

No tailgate lock on your truck? No problem. We have designed a flap that goes over the tailgate when you close the MoonLander door. When the MoonLander door is locked, no one can open your tailgate. It is attached on the inside of the MoonLander door and requires NO modification to you factory tailgate.

Camper Jacks

(ONLY WORKS WITH FULL SIDE POD EXTENSIONS) MoonLander is light enough to stay on your truck full time, but sometimes you might need to take it off. These jacks make that easy by lifting the camper off of the truck bed without needing any brackets or attachments. Simply place the jacks on each side of the camper and lift it off. We put our own foam pads on these to maximize hold on the MoonLander.

THULE Roof Rack Tracks

THULE roof tracks that run the entire length of the MoonLander roof. These are attached to the main frame on the roof so that you can mount any crossbars you like. The standard position for these are full width of the roof. We recommend placing the fan (Driver Side of Roof/ Centered).

Integrated LED Lighting Package

LED lighting pre-installed and routed through the camper. Orange light to keep bugs away and for night vision. Bright white light for full visibility inside the camper and at the tailgate. Grab Handle

(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) Enter and exit your MoonLander with ease by adding a grab handle to the passenger side or drivers side of the door entrance. This handle is strong enough to hang a hammock off of.

KAMMOK Crosswing Awning

Get some shade with the fastest deploying awning on the market. No support poles or zippers required. Just unlatch and pull the awning out to immediately have shade. It extends out to a maximum of 6.5’. It can be mounted to the drivers side or passenger side of the roof edge. Special brackets make it easy to remove if needed. Adds 5” of height to the roof and 38-45 Lbs. of weight.

PANELS & TRIM

⛔️ The standard mill-finish aluminum skins will surface scratch easily and stain from water marks. They will come to us from the mill with some light surface scratches. Upgrade the skins if you want less scratching and staining, or if you live by the coast👇🏼

This is what comes standard on MoonLander. It is bare aluminum that will last a long time but will change in appearance from rain, road salts and scratching. This comes to us with some light scratches. Trim is clear matte anodized. Black trim available.

MoonLander Production Deposit

Current Estimated Completion - (4.5 Months) September, 2024. This is an estimate. It could be slightly sooner or later, but we are working hard every day to beat these times.

Production Deposit - This production deposit will secure your MoonLander build spot in our production queue. This deposit will be applied to your final invoice, which is due 30 days before your estimated completion. We will send the final invoice to you once options are finalized. Full pricing is available on the MoonLander page. $500 of this deposit is non-refundable, please review our Refund Policy for more information. Once we receive your deposit, your spot in line is secured! We will reach out to you within the next business day to gather more information about your build and answer any questions you have. You can list your desired options through email once you know what you want, and we will build a quote for you. You do not need to know what options you want to place your deposit, we will narrow that down as we get closer to your build.

Install - You must physically come to our shop at 470 E. 76th Avenue, Unit B Denver, CO 80229 for install when your camper is ready. Due to the nature of manufacturing customized campers built to order, we cannot schedule an install until we have notified you that your camper has entered production. This gives you about a two week heads up as to when it will be completed. If you need to schedule something in advance, we can work on updating you with timing. However, until we start production, there is no guarantee we can hit a certain date. We are open Monday-Thursday for standard installs, included with your base price. We can install on most Fridays and Saturdays for a $150 extra fee.
