HOW IT WORKS
MoonLander is built for you. Your truck bed size determines your base price. You will then customize your MoonLander from our list of factory options. Below you will see the base prices and all of the options we offer.
PRODUCTION DEPOSIT
When you are ready to order your MoonLander, we require a $2,000 production deposit to secure your spot in our production queue. You do not need to select your options at this point. Options and final invoice are due 30 days before estimated completion.
LEAD TIME
If you place a production deposit today, current estimated completion is July, 2024. Lead times are constantly changing, and we are working hard every week to bring these lead times down. On average we beat our estimate, but manufacturing has many elements that cause these to fluctuate.
INSTALL
You must drive to our location in Denver, CO to get your MoonLander installed. Installs can be scheduled once the final invoice is paid. If the install is scheduled more than 4 weeks before estimated completion, it will need to be scheduled 2 weeks after the estimated completion date of the camper to ensure your MoonLander is completed in time for your planned trip.

OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM
OPTIONS
You get to choose exactly what options you want, and where they are placed on the camper. Browse all of our options below. Click on the items to learn more about them.
Panel Finish
We offer four different panel finishes to choose from. Each having their own characteristics.
⚠️ Mill finish is included in the base price of MoonLander. Please note that mill finish will come with some light scratches from the factory and it will scratch easily in the wild. It will also stain from rain and tap water impurities over time.
Trim Finish
We offer two different trim finishes for aesthetics. Both options are included in the base price.
BUILD RECOMMENDATIONS
Below are some tips on how to customize your MoonLander so that you can enjoy it to the fullest. This is a combination of feedback from customers and from our own nights in a MoonLander. Of course, this is your MoonLander so please feel free to build it your way!
BARE MINIMUM
At a bare minimum we recommend at least one fan and one screened window. The fan allows you to control temperature and condensation inside of the camper. You want to be able to pull fresh air in through a screened window, and remove old air with the fan.
SLEEP ORIENTATION
We recommend sleeping with your head on the passenger side of the camper. We run all of the power cables from various options to the passenger side by the door. This area is where you will want your battery station and where you will charge your gear and control power output. Sleeping with your head on this side of the bed will make it easy to charge your phone, control your lights, etc.
FAN PLACEMENT
We recommend placing the fan on the driver side of the roof, centered front to back. This way when you sit up and get in/out of bed, the knob that hangs down from the fan will not be in your way. This location also provides good air flow, which is explained a bit more in the windows section. Additionally, this location will allow space in the front and back of the fan for crossbars to clear if you plan to mount those.
WINDOWS
Air Flow - Windows allow you to have a beautiful view to the outside, but they also provide function as well. We recommend having a screened window on the driver side and passenger side of the camper. This allows you to control air flow when the fan is in exhaust mode. On a warm night, you can open the window at the head of the bed to pull air over your body to cool you down. On a cold night, you can crack open the window at the foot of the bed and run the fan on low to cycle fresh air and control condensation without losing your body heat.
Front & Back Windows - We recommend having either a cab access window or a stationary window on the cab side, and a stationary window on the tailgate side (door). This allows you to see through the camper with you rear view mirror when driving.
Side Window Placement - We recommend placing larger windows at the foot of the bed, so that when you sit up in bed you have a nice big view. We recommend smaller windows at the head of the bed, so that your pillows do not block the window view and it is out of your way when lying down.
Arctic Tern Windows - Our selection of Arctic Tern windows truly up the feel, aesthetics, and function of the camper. They offer big views to the outdoors, and because they open awning style you can have them open when it is raining. The built in shader is extremely convenient for privacy and controlling air flow as well. They are insulated and they also just look awesome! Our favorite setup is a 450x900mm at the foot of the bed, and a 300x700mm high up at the head of the bed.
Slider Windows - These certainly get the job done as well and have a pretty dark tint, these are going to be less pricey.
Porthole Windows - Make your camper look like a spaceship. These are mostly for aesthetics and have a dark tint.
Bubble Windows - Bubble windows have pros and cons. Pros being that you gain 4" of head room wherever it is placed, it will allow you to fall asleep under the stars, and it lets in some nice light. Cons being that it can let in too much light sometimes, and it can allow for condensation to accumulate on it. So if you have it over your head it could drip on you. You could make a velcro cover to keep light out and to control condensation.
